Today, 28 February, we celebrate the Day of Andalusia. We commemorate the February 28, 1980 referndum on the Statute on Autonomy of Andalusia, in which the Andalusian voted for the statute that made Andalusia an autonomous community of Spain.
En el colegio lo celebramos leyendo poesías sobre nuestras provincias, aprendiendo el himno, conociendo la bandera, algunos símbolos y costumbres, y celebrando un desayuno andaluz típico, con un estupendo pan con aceite y zumos.
En el patio nos reunimos y los niños desde 5 de infantil hasta 6 de primaria leyeron poemas de cada provincia:
We celebrated it at school reading poems about our 8 andalusian provinces, learning the regional anthem, how is our flag and our symbols, and celebrating a traditional Andalusian breakfast consisting of a slice of bread with a thing layer of olive oil and juices for drinking.
All the students of the school joined together in the playground and read poems of each province.
